- Short leash only for potty breaks
- No swimming during recovery
She WILL try to convince you she's fine. Her recovery depends on you keeping her calm!
Emergency Red Flags
Contact owners + vet IMMEDIATELY if you see:
- Stiff or "drunken" walking (ataxia)
- Refusal to lower head to eat or drink
- Knuckling — walking on top of her paw
- Crying out when touched or moved
- Blood in vomit or poop
- Continuous vomiting
- Difficulty breathing
